Genetic Resources at IIHR
IIHR has been involved in Exploration, Exchange, Evaluation, Characterization and Conservation of horticultural plant genetic resources. Accessions have been introduced in fruits, vegetables, ornamentals, medicinal and aromatic plant species. In addition to the evaluation and characterization of genetic resources, ex situ conservation of seed and pollen is also being carried out.
